WILL.I.AM DREAMS OF DOLPHINS

7th September 2009

Most multi-million selling rock stars are content with their luxurious lot, but not Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas. No, the founder member of the record breaking band now wants to rock the world of professional American football.

Perhaps it’s his band’s upcoming performance at the inaugural star-studded F1 ROCKS™ Singapore with LG – an event that will see the coming together of music, motorsport and megastars – that has inspired Will.i.am to revisit his childhood dream of playing for the Miami Dolphins.

“I always wanted to play football,” lamented the 34-year old rapper recently on his blog. “From the age of 10 that was my dream. I’m sad that I never followed my football dreams. Lately I’ve been thinking, is it too late to do it now? No way!”

Whether it is too late for Will.i.am to fulfill his ambitious athletic dreams remains to be seen but it’s not too late for you to buy your tickets to see The Black Eyed Peas appear alongside Beyoncè and DJ Havana Brown on Saturday 26th September. But hurry, tickets are selling like hotdogs at a big game.
