BLACK EYED PEAS WANT YOUR MUSIC

Having just broken records in the US Charts, The Black Eyed Peas can be pretty much considered qualified to recognise a hit record. And if you think you have the talent to produce such a track, they want to hear it.
That’s right, the BEPs – who are appearing at F1 ROCKS™ Singapore with LG later this month – are on the hunt for new talent, especially if you are based in Asia.
Founder BEP member Apl.de.Ap (pictured right) told F1 ROCKS in an exclusive interview that he has recently launched a label and website, from where he is inviting artists to upload their music.
Under the banner Jeepney Music, named after his favoured form of public transport in his native Philippines, Apl is looking to provide a promotional platform for emerging artists and DJs.
Talented contributors may also be afforded the opportunity to collaborate with Apl, a Grammy award-winning artist and producer.
“It’s all about bringing up the artists from Asia and spreading their music around the world,” said Apl speaking from a BEPs video shoot in Los Angeles.
“Anybody can upload their stuff on the website,” he added.
