F1 Rocks The Afterparty

Following Jamiroquai‘s headline set at F1 Rocks Monza on Friday (9th September), fans of both the multi-million selling British funk band and Formula 1 headed to the Just Cavalli Café in Milan, for F1 Rocks The Afterparty.

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay was mobbed by fans when he arrived at the fashionable nightspot, before partying hard until the packed out club closed around 3am.

A second Afterparty was staged at the club following the Grand Prix on Sunday night (11th September).

Marussia Virgin Racing test driver Sakon Yamamoto traded tight turns for turntables and DJ’d for the assembled masses. While Milan’s glitterati set rubbed shoulders with a number of Formula 1 drivers past and present, including Felipe Massa, Adrian Sutil, Kamui Kobayashi, Jerome D’Ambrosio, Sergio Perez, Luca di Grassi, Vintantonio Liuzzi, Giancarlo Fisichella and celebrating his birthday in style, Enrico Zanarini.

F1 Rocks CEO Robert Montague commented: “It was another great weekend with F1 Rocks and F1 Rocks the Afterparty providing the weekend’s official off-track entertainment.

“Jamiroquai delivered a fantastic show at the F1 Rocks in Monza event and F1 Rocks the Afterparty was once again the place to be seen. We look forward to returning to Monza next year.”
