To ensure their first ever show in India is as spectacular as to be expected from one of the world’s biggest rock bands, Metallica are airlifting in over 36 tons of equipment for this Friday’s concert in New Delhi.
The legendary rock veterans have entirely filled a Boeing 767 with their gear as well as chartering a private jet to fly the four band members in from Abu Dhabi.
It has so far taken 350 local crew members 12 days to set up the site for F1 Rocks in India with Vladivar. Preparations have included the entire concert arena being carpeted with an enormous green tarpaulin.
